# Connecting & Disconnecting Parts

This guide explains how to connect and disconnect parts in MachineBuilder.

  

## **Connecting Newly Inserted Parts**

  

To connect a newly inserted component, hover over the desired attachment location. ## **Connecting Existing Components**

  

To connect existing components, drag and drop the first component to the second one at the desired points of connections.

Use the arrow keys to adjust the orientation. Click elsewhere to confirm the placement.

  

## **Disconnecting Parts**
