# Get Started: RemoteAccess

Remote Access lets you grant Vention's Customer Success and Integration teams secure, temporary access to your machine, so they can diagnose and resolve issues as if they were standing next to it.

## Requirements for Product Operation

To ensure the successful operation of this product, the following prerequisites are required:

- MachineMotion AI controller with a Vention Pendant;
- Internet connection on your machine.

## Connect to the Internet

To establish the connection from your machine to the cloud, you will need to be connected to the internet.

1. In the Control Center, navigate to the **Settings** page.
2. From the **Network** section, select and connect to the network of your choice, for example, via the Wi-Fi interface.

## Enable Remote Access

1. On your pendant, tap **Support** in the top-right corner.
2. Toggle on **Allow remote access**.
3. Click **Allow** to give the Vention team access to connect to your machine.

**Note:** If you need live assistance, tap **Call remote support** from the same menu to reach the Customer Success team.

## Accept an Access Request

The Vention team can also send an access request to your machine while remote access is disabled.

1. A pop-up will appear on your pendant.
2. Tap **Allow** to grant access.

## Disable Remote Access

You can revoke access at any time.

1. On your pendant, tap **Support** in the top-right corner.
2. Toggle off **Allow remote access**.
3. Tap **Disable** to confirm.

**Note:** Once disabled, the connection is closed immediately and your Vention Automation Expert will no longer be able to access this controller.

## Security

Your machine stays under your control at all times:

- The Vention team **cannot connect without your consent**. Access is only possible after you enable it or accept a request on the pendant.
- All connections are made through an encrypted, point-to-point tunnel.
- You can disable remote access at any time, instantly closing the connection.
