Vention is announcing the End of Life of the MachineMotion v2 ecosystem: the MachineMotion v2 controller, MachineMotion v2 servo motors, and MachineMotion v2 safety module. This notice covers the key End of Life dates and the recommended path to migrate to MachineMotion AI.

Under the standard policy, Vention Automation Products carry a 1-year Standard Warranty (optionally extended by 2 years), and spare parts are guaranteed for up to 2 years beyond the standard warranty period for previous-generation products. Once safety stock of MachineMotion v2 parts is depleted, repairs can no longer be guaranteed.
What's Covered
This End of Life notice applies to the MachineMotion v2 ecosystem. It does not change support for other Vention products or for MachineMotion AI, which remains Vention's current-generation ecosystem.

The Power-Off Brake (MO-PT-002-0001) will remains in production. It is not affected by this notice. Reach out to your Vention representative to order it.
Recommended Migration Path
If a customer wishes to migrate their MachineMotion v2 system to MachineMotion AI, they should reach out to their Vention team to plan the migration.
The two ecosystems are not compatible: significant design changes were made to MachineMotion AI to lay a strong foundation for the future. Because migration scope varies by cell (controller, motor, and safety module compatibility, plus any MachineLogic or CAD design changes), your Vention team will work with you to plan a migration timeline tailored to your system.
