# Oct 2026 - MachineMotion Firmware (v3.5.3)

We are pleased to announce the software release of v3.5.3 on MachineMotionAI. This hotfix release fixes two memory leaks affecting long-running MachineLogic applications.

### **Machine Logic**

- Bugfix: Fixed a memory leak caused by applications printing a large volumes. Python applications, and CodeFree applications using Python snippets, can now call print() at high frequency without issues.
- Bugfix: Fixed a memory leak caused by MachineLogic Python applications writing files inside their own folder while running.

**Firmware**

- Bugfix: Fixed a memory leak issue caused by the remote view recording service. That feature can now be used as long as desired, without impacting machine performance.
- Bugfix: When receiving a set to operational request, only re-enabled the motors if they were not in a operational state already.
- Ensure the MachineMotion keeps trusting only valid public certificates when connecting to the Vention Cloud and other services.
